Erasmus and International Exchanges

An erasmus exchange is an exciting opportunity for you to travel, to broaden your horizons, and to gain an insight into a different way of life. An exchange, consisting of either academic study or an international work placement, not only enhances personal and academic development, but can also improve your employment prospects, both in the UK and overseas.
Erasmus is open to everyone who is studying full or part-time towards a degree - it's not just for language students.
Many courses at the University of Salford, such as East and West European Political Studies, currently offer you the opportunity to complete part of your programme of study at a worldwide partner institution (many of which deliver academic programmes in English).
So if you are currently studying at the University of Salford, or are in the process of applying, and if you have a pro-active attitude, show initiative and can work independently, why not find out more about opportunities for Outgoing Exchange Students.
Erasmus mobility is made possible by the funding the University receives from the European Commission.
The University of Salford actively promotes Erasmus exchange opportunities to its students with the support of the Commission of the European Communities, within the framework of the
LLP-Erasmus programme.
