The University Chaplaincy works alongside the other support services in the university and Students’ Union and is open to people of all faiths and none.
Salford Chaplaincy offers you:
- Confidential advice and a ‘safe space’ to talk
- Spiritual help at times of need or if you’d just like to explore
- Friendship and support
- Information on places of worship for all faiths.
Chaplains are appointed to serve all members of the University, students and staff, whatever your convictions or beliefs. You can talk to a Chaplain about anything you like - we don’t just do religion, and all conversations are confidential.
The Chaplaincy is in the Chapman Building and is open from 9.30am to 4pm Monday to Friday. There are also Chaplain’s offices in Allerton Reception, tel : 0161 295 2040; and at Adelphi, near the cafeteria, tel : 0161 295 6022. Chaplains are available there at given times - see the notice on doors for details.
You are welcome to drop in at any time, or contact a chaplain. The Chaplain will talk to you about any matter and can be contacted outside normal university hours. The Chaplains also organise social, and faith-based events throughout the year. Visit the University Chaplaincy website for more information.
