Are you staying on campus over the Christmas holidays? Here is some useful information about key dates, and how to get help when the university is closed. See below for times and dates for activities and events happening over the winter break, both in Salford and Manchester.

Key Dates

Friday 16 December 2011: Classes finish
Friday 23 December 2011: Main services on campus close. This includes Student Life, School offices, Libraries, Cafés and Snack bars, the Students Union & the Leisure Centre. Clifford Whitworth will be open Sat 24/12/11-Mon 2/1/12 on a self-service only basis between 12.00 – 18.00 hours.
Tuesday 3 January 2012: Main services re-open
Monday 9 January 2012: Exams & assessments start

Accommodation

Although classes will finish on Friday 16 December 2011, there will still be students in and around the University over Christmas. If you are planning on staying in your University Accommodation don’t worry, staff are going to be on call or on site throughout the festive period. If you need assistance, there will be a member of staff at the Castle Irwell Reception at the following times and dates,

24 Hour Help

During the university closure period, there will be a Resident Life Support Officer on call 24 hours a day. If you live in University accommodation you can contact them on 07816 318845.
